The narrow paper strips and the celluloid film are attached to dibond one by one and fixated with a double-sided tape. Every piece of work takes about 30 hours to make, including creating the image and other preparations. In a work, measuring 80 x 100 cm, approximately 125 meters of celluloid film and 13 rolls of double-sided tape are processed. Moreover, not all pieces work out the way I want them to and sometimes the whole process has to be repeated from scratch. In some cases I cover the artwork with a UV resistant epoxy resin to protect the vulnarable celluloid and paper. Now the work is preserved for eternity...
